DONUTS is a clever, fast-paced abstract tile-placement game for two, combining Tic-Tac-Toe style alignment with Othello-like flipping mechanics. With a 6×6 modular board and strategic twist, it's a fresh take on classic strategy—perfect for quick duels or coffee break matchups.

Place smart. Flip smarter. Position your donuts to align five in a row—but watch out, your opponent can flip your pieces by inserting theirs—keeping the tension rising and strategies ever-shifting.

How the Game Works

Set up a 6×6 grid by randomly arranging the four double-sided board panels. Each player chooses a color (vanilla or chocolate) and alternately places one of their 15 donut tokens on the board. The direction arrow on the chosen space dictates where your opponent must place next—unless no valid space remains on that line.

If your placement nests your donut between two of your opponent’s donuts, you flip those opponent donuts to your color—creating dynamic reversals and emergent strategy. First to get five in a row wins, or if all tokens are placed, the player with the largest connected group takes the victory.
