How the Game Works

On your turn, you’ll place workers on the shared board to gain resources, draw cards, and trigger special actions. Then you’ll play cards into your tableau—Constructions and Critters—that generate abilities, discounts, and point-scoring engines. Each card type synergizes with others, rewarding smart sequencing and resource timing.

Everdell flows through four seasons. At key moments you “prepare for the next season,” gaining more workers and refreshing opportunities. The heart of the game is timing: balancing immediate gains against powerful long-term combos, racing for shared Events, and finishing with the most efficient, high-scoring city.
