This expansion piece brings a fresh layer of strategy, allowing you to manipulate the board in unprecedented ways. Whether you're rescuing your Queen or trapping your opponent's key pieces, the Pillbug is your new secret weapon.

How the Game Works

The Pillbug moves like the Queen Bee—one space at a time. However, its true power lies in its special ability: instead of moving, the Pillbug can move an adjacent piece (friend or foe) two spaces—up onto itself and then down into another empty space adjacent to itself. This unique ability can be used to disrupt your opponent's plans or to reposition your own pieces for a better advantage.

Note: The Pillbug cannot move a piece that was moved in the previous turn, and it cannot move a piece if either it or the piece to be moved is stacked upon. These restrictions ensure balanced gameplay while adding depth to your strategic options.
