Marvel: Remix the Cosmos

Marvel: Remix the Cosmos is a standalone 2–6 player card-combo game built on the Fantasy Realms system, with Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel, Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, villains, locations, equipment, and even all six Infinity Stones competing for seven precious spaces in your final hand. Every card wants particular teammates, tags, items, or circumstances, so the puzzle is not finding seven powerful Marvel cards. It is finding seven cards that make one another powerful.

Seven Cards. An Unreasonable Number of Combos.

The turn itself is almost suspiciously simple: draw one card, discard one card.

Everything interesting happens because of what those cards say about one another. A hero may gain a bonus from a particular team. Gear may need someone appropriate to use it. A location may reward a particular collection. Villains create another scoring problem entirely.

The Cosmos set also introduces Cosmic cards with immediate effects, including the Infinity Stones, so some decisions now matter when the card enters play rather than only during final scoring.

How the Game Works

Each player maintains a seven-card hand. On your turn, draw from the Hero deck, Villain deck, or an available discard pile, then discard one card.

Cards provide base strength plus bonuses and penalties based on the other cards you kept. Building a high-scoring hand therefore means finding interactions rather than simply drafting the cards with the largest printed numbers.

Cosmic cards add immediate powers and potentially large bonuses. The six Infinity Stones are among those new possibilities, alongside heroes and teams drawn from the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe.

When the game ends, resolve the web of bonuses, penalties, villain scoring, and card interactions in each hand. Highest total wins.

Remix the Cosmos is fully playable by itself. It can also be combined with the original Marvel: Remix for a larger pool of characters and combinations.

Why You’ll Love It

• Turns are extremely fast, but evaluating card combinations gives the game considerably more depth than the rules suggest.
• Cosmic cards add immediate effects to the familiar Fantasy Realms-style scoring puzzle.
• Includes the Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, Infinity Stones, Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom, Venom, and many more Marvel characters.
• Standalone play means the original Marvel: Remix is not required.
• Owners of Marvel: Remix can combine the sets for even more potential interactions.
