Tiny Epic Cthulhu: Cult of Chaos

Tiny Epic Cthulhu: Cult of Chaos is an expansion for Tiny Epic Cthulhu that adds a dangerous new faction to the struggle over the Necronomicon. While the investigators race to translate its pages and seal away the Great Old One, a Cultist of the Shrine moves through town performing incantations, recruiting followers, and trying to turn the same forbidden knowledge toward permanent cosmic catastrophe. New investigators, new Great Old Ones, additional locations, Cultist systems, and a new solo option dramatically expand the possibilities inside Tiny Epic Cthulhu's very untiny struggle against madness. A copy of Tiny Epic Cthulhu is required to play.

The Investigators Are No Longer the Only Ones Reading the Book

There was already plenty going wrong in Tiny Epic Cthulhu. Portals were opening. Sanity was negotiable. Something with entirely too many tentacles was waiting for an invitation.

Cult of Chaos makes the situation worse by adding people who actually want all of that to happen.

The Cultist moves through town, calls followers into play, manipulates the Necronomicon, and strengthens the forces working against the investigators. That gives the cooperative puzzle a more active adversarial presence and another crisis that cannot simply be ignored while everyone handles portals elsewhere.

How the Game Works

Cult of Chaos plugs directly into Tiny Epic Cthulhu's cooperative systems. Investigators still move around town, manage madness, interact with locations, deal with emerging threats, and race to translate the Necronomicon before the Great Old One overwhelms the world.

The expansion adds the Cultist of the Shrine, who travels between locations and summons followers to interfere with the investigators' plans. Cultist tentacles and the Cult of Chaos mat track the new threat while the players try to prevent the cult from turning forbidden knowledge toward the Great Old One.

Four additional investigators introduce new player abilities, while four new Great Old Ones create additional threats to face. Two new Town cards further increase setup variety.

The expansion also includes a dedicated solo mode that reverses the usual perspective and allows you to play as the Cultist, working toward the very apocalypse the investigators normally spend the game preventing.
